Great spot - this was the only breakfast place in the area that had a good crowd and vibe. I liked their menu options - we ordered the Crab cake Benedict. I don’t eat a lot of sea food but I really liked it! The potatoes were flavorful and the avocado was very fresh. Our server was super sweet and service was quick. Overall great experience, would definitely come back again! There’s also Tompskin’s park close by to hang later on a sunny day.
The service and environment were great. The prices were affordable. It's clearly a popular choice and I recommend going with a reservation. Everyone's food tasted great except for mine.
The burger that apparently won an award was a carbon copy of a Big Mac. It was as greasy and tasted just as bad. Two smashed burgers with soggy buns, messy lettuce and wet tomato. Even the shoe string fries looked straight outta McD's. The Steak & eggs, Benedict, or Sausage sandwich were much better Brunch options
Came for brunch on Saturday, and had such a lovely time. The ambiance of the place is cute & cozy, and service is great.
What stood out to me was the pricing—in my opinion, more reasonably priced than other brunch spots in the city.
My friend and I both got the salmon benedict. The eggs were poached perfectly, and the salmon was fresh. I thought the potatoes could be crispier but it was still delicious.
Will definitely be returning!
Came from Chelsea for a change of scene for brunch. Really wanted to love the experience based on reviews but unfortunately the service was erratic and a little slow. Perhaps due to staff being too busy but our server was kind of indifferent. The food definitely a solid 4. Eggs Benedict nice , standard. My husband's omelette ok.
Went there on a weekday around 2pm, had a few other guests there, the space is fun, the vibe was welcoming, and the service was pretty attentive. They have tons of Brunch options, I believe brunch menu ends around 3pm ish. Had the chicken sandwhich, thought I tasted cumin or curry, which was unexpected* but still delicious... their fries are crunchy and shoestring btw. Would go again!!
Burger and fries were delicious. My only issue was with plating - fries tasted good but could have been roasted to a lovely brown (these look barely out of the fryer). Burger was delicious but the cheese hadn’t even melted when it arrived.
In the city where we eat with our eyes, it could use some work. But taste was good.
The crab cake Benedict and the French Roast were both awesome! The Benedict came with great potatoes and a side salad as well. It was one of the best French Toasts I’ve ever had, I’m not sure how they got the bread so crunchy and the inside so gooey. There caramelized bananas on top were great too. The ice coffee was not great though, all the ice in it melted, but it was only $2 at least.
Came here for a delicious brunch and got the steak and eggs! Yummy and decent prices.
